Kimball High School is having its annual athletic banquet Monday night. And there will be some star power in the house. Cowboys defensive end Marcus Spears will deliver a keynote address, and Texas A&M guard Acie Law, a former standout at Kimball, will have his jersey retired.
"Kimball High School and the coaching staff have been an integral part of my life," Law said about the honor. "My coaches pushed me to not only be the best basketball player that I could be, but the best student and the best person."
The event, which is open to the public, starts at 7 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 800 N. Main St., in Duncanville. Tickets are $10 for Kimball students and $20 for everyone else. Contact Ronda Reed at 972-502-2114.
