OK....so over on the Rangers blog, we're reporting that the boys in Arlington are sending closer Eric Gagne to the BoSox, for a pitcher, an outfielder, a minor league outfielder and.....cash. Because there's nothing like a fistful of cash and some minor leaguers to seal a deal.
While the Rangers are so dreadful that it's difficult to care about their fate, I can't help but wonder: Are they going to have enough players left to field a team? And they keep trading pitchers (there was one in yesterday's Mark Texiera deal, for those of you not keeping score). Haven't the Rangers been kinda light on pitching in recent years to begin with?
