As you may have heard, the NFL Network broadcast of the Patriots-Giants game on Saturday night also will be aired on NBC and CBS, so that the entire nation can watch New England try to become the first team to go 16-0 during the regular season.
Non-football fans, here's what you'll miss: NBC was scheduled to air Dateline NBC and a repeat of Law & Order: SVU during the time slot. CBS was to broadcast the movie Good Night, and Good Luck and 48 Hours: Mysteries. My guess is they're happy to have the football.
